Everything you need to know before starting your journey with Nuevo Medical.
The Cardiac Wellness Program is a structured, cardiologist-supported pathway designed to assess your cardiovascular risk, identify key drivers, and build a practical plan to improve your heart health and long-term outcomes. Depending on your needs, your program may include a medical consultation, targeted pathology, and specialist imaging (where appropriate), alongside coordinated support from our allied health team. You will receive a clear summary of findings, your personalised plan, and agreed next steps, including monitoring milestones so progress is measurable, not subjective.
No referral is required to book an appointment with Nuevo Medical. You can book directly online. If you have a GP or specialist referral, you are welcome to provide it, as it can help us coordinate care and request relevant records.
If you are seeking Medicare rebates or claiming through a private health fund for specific services, referral requirements can vary. If you are unsure, we can guide you on what documentation is needed for your appointment type.
Your first appointment is focused on understanding your current health, your goals, and the factors that matter most clinically. We will review your medical history, medications, family history, lifestyle, and any prior results you can share (blood tests, imaging, specialist letters).
You will leave with:
If tests are ordered, we will explain what they are for and how the results will be used.
We have two locations: Temple Gym Parkwood and Temple Gym Varsity. These are where Nuevo Medical allied health consultations will take place.
Your booking confirmation will confirm the exact location for your appointment, along with any instructions to help you prepare.
Progress is tracked using objective measures relevant to your program. This may include pathology trends, blood pressure, body composition, fitness capacity, symptom scores, and other agreed markers. We track progress over time against your baseline, not generic targets, and adjust the plan as needed based on results and response.
You will receive periodic summaries so you can see what has changed, what it means, and what the next focus should be.Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.
